They can be standing, dangling, falling,
climbing, whatever works. How you get them there, and get them out of it, is entirely up to you. I only have one other little caveat. You must use one, some or all of the following words in the story: birthday, chocolate, shower and fool. It is April after all. Any universe, any style. Good Luck!

I'm so glad to see that you move your stories from your website. Was afraid at first that they would be lost after geocities closed down.
Means a lot to me to see they are still around since yours and Jean Williams stories were the first M7 stories I read. And let me tell you - you got me hooked :) I just loved (and still love) your "Continuing Ezra Standish Saga".
But what made me really happy was to see that you returned to the M7 fandom and started to write in the fandom again.
Thank you very much for sharing your amazing stories with us.

Thanks! I appreciate you letting me know.

Every time I think about changing my mind in regards to 'archive or to not archive' someone leaves me a comment letting me know they enjoy my stories and I decide to keep archiving.

I apologise though, because it's taking me a long time to archive them.

And thank you for enjoying my stories!

You rock!......like, a lot
Okay, so I've read most of the stories you've posted here (I'm trying to take my time because I'll feel really bad once I've read the last one and have nothing else to get to), and I've got to say a few things:

1. Thank you, that stuff on here rocks.

2. I'm really impressed with the way you can express the different aspects of the characters depending on the story and still make it be on point.

3. Your dialogue is very good, whether dramatic or funny team sniping events, I love to read it.

4. I really, really, really, hope that you post more stories up because, as I might have mentioned earlier, you rock.

5. (this one is a question) The stories that are listed but don't have a link attached, are those stories that you're planning on posting? Or something else?

Anyway, that's it. I don't have a livejournal, so sorry for the anon, but I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your stories and I'll look forward for more. Thanks.

Re: You rock!......like, a lot
Again, thank you!! :)

When I look at most of these stories, I cringe and think that they're pretty bad so it's a big ego boost when someone lets me know that they like what I write.

I am sad to say that I no longer write in the Mag7 fandom. I may get back to it one day but I don't see that happening in the near future.

And yes, the story titles that don't have a link are ones that I'm in the process of putting up. I should finish putting them all up over the next few weeks.

Thank you again for the awesome and encouraging feedback. I really do appreciate it.

And no problems about the Anonymous comments :)

Thank you for reposting your stories. I was actually introduced to the Magnificent Seven not through the TV but from fanfiction. One of the first stories was "Loyalties". I loved that story which led me to the series and now I am addicted. So again, thank you for creating this archive of your stories.
Jun. 21st, 2010 04:47 am (UTC)
You're welcome! :)

I also got to know Mag7 through fan fiction. I live in Australia and the show was cancelled after 'Wagon Train - Part 1'.

And thank you so much for the feedback! I appreciate it. It always strokes my bedridden ego when someone lets me know that they like my stories :)

A Love Lost
Are you going to post thr 7th sytory in The Continuing Saga, A Loce Lost
Jan. 12th, 2011 12:20 am (UTC)
I know you haven't posted "a love lost" but I was wondering if you could give us a synopsis of what happens in it? I was wondering if Ezra ever tells them who Eric was... I'm on to read the 8th story!

I saw that you're taking down all these stories and figured I'd like to read your OW fic since I loved your ATF tales so much (particularly 'the Betrayal', which is one of my favorite ATF tales of all time!).

I'm sorry to see you aren't interested in the fandom anymore, but wanted to thank you for sharing your visions with us! It was fun watching your storytelling improve as you went; and seeing your take on the characters.
Jan. 12th, 2011 01:08 am (UTC)
'A Love Lost' - A woman arrives in Four Corners and she and Ezra fall in love. Her ex arrives and kills her. Your typical cliche story line :)

Yes, I have a porn bot and they are driving me crazy. I'm not sure I have the energy to archive 60+ stories somewhere else at the moment. Maybe another time.

I'm actually getting back into the fandom. At the moment I am working on a Lenny Hoskins/Mag7 story.

I've been told that you can find my stories on Geocities using the 'wayback machine'. I don't know how it works. It confuses me.

And thank you for the feedback on my stories/writing. It's much appreciated :)

Jan. 12th, 2011 04:00 am (UTC)
Thanks for letting me know what happens.

Also, sweet! I look forward to reading your new stories! Especially since the next one's got Lenny in it. Lenny and the Seven is always a great situation. Where will you be posting them? Since you're deleting this journal I assume you'll post to a different site.

And may I say your icon gives all new meaning to "eye Candy"; if you'll pardon the pun?

I'm over here :)

Yes, I had a Mag7 dream and had to write it. It will be a while before it's finished though because I'm a slow writer these days.

And I will pardon the pun, because it's candy :)

WoooHooo!!! The Lenny stories have not been lost along with Geocities! Awesome!! I thought you had left livejournal when I saw that egorstandish was no longer a valid username (quite some time ago.) Then this week, I noticed it had been replaced (on my friend list) with ex_egorstan. Glad to see you're back!

anything Ezra
I've jut spent a lovely few weeks working my way through all of your fanfiction. I'm a sucker for anything involving Ezra and I even found your missing story on Geocities Wayback - I googled your name and got to it that way ... I think.
While i didn't agree with all your characterisation of Ezra, particularly in the continuing Ezra Standish Saga (poor man would have topped himself and rest tended to be a bit wet as well) I have genuinely enjoyed reading your writing. Wish you'd come back to this fandom

Re: anything Ezra
Thank you :)

I agree with you. Those characterisations were way off. When I think about it . . . makes me cringe. Come to think of it, the writing was pretty bad too. Which is why it always surprises me to find out people are still reading them.

I don’t think I’ll ever back into the fandom. Every now and then, I get the urge to write Magnificent 7 fic. Had the urge the other day in fact but it’s gone now. One day. Maybe.

Hi beautiful,

Waves madly at you. How are you? I am happy to see you still writing. I am reading your "A Toast of Midsomer" right now and loving it. :D :D :D Am watching some midsomer murders on dvds that my sister bought me and really enjoying them.

Love you,

P.S. Love the Robert Vaughn Napoleon Solo header.

Ahhhhh, Robert Vaughn's Napoleon Solo. *Smishes Him*

He has become my favourite character . . . EVER! I adore him :)

Hey you!

Waves madly back at you :) I'm surviving and yes, still writing . . . although I haven't posted anything yet this year. Incomplete stories and such.

A Toast of Midsummer . . . that's a weird one :)

Which seasons are you watching?

What about you? How are you doing? How's your short term memory doing?

Hey you, :D

Waves back at you. (Wave, wave, wave.) I am surviving too. I really enjoy your writing and look forward to reading it. I like to read your take on the different characters and I have fallen hard for DS Jones in Midsummer Murders. I am watching seasons 9 and 10 of Midsummer Murders. I love the episodes "Death in Chorus", "Last Year's Model", "King's Crystal" and "They Seek Him Here." My sister also has season 11 but but we need to finish 10 (one more episode, I think) before we start on 11. I am doing better with my memory, I work on improving it constantly. Pegasus was inspired by your header and made some Napoleon Solo graphics for you found here:

Or if I didn't do link right, lets see if I remember how to post pics in a comment.

*Hugs you madly while waving in an excitement manner*

Writing is my favourite thing in the world. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't write. Even when my muse goes on holiday, I'm thinking about writing and plotting . . .

Jason Hughes is in 7 seasons. He left at the end of season 15 :( Jones is such a wonderful character and I love Jason Hughes facial expressions. I love an expressive face! There's a lot of good episodes you can look forward to :)

I'm glad your doing better! Have you been doing any writing?

Am going to comment on the icons on your Livejournal, after I spend a few minutes admiring them :)

Hugs you back.

I love to read your writing, so keep on writing. :D

Looking forward to 7 seasons of Jason Hughes. Yay.

I am better thank you. I am writing. Right now, my muse is working on a star trek 2009 reboot story I started after the second movie in 2013 but have had unfinished on a usb stick. When my siblings took me to see the third movie Star trek beyond a couple months ago. she got the urge to continue writing that story. I also have a couple of unfinished Mag7 stories, two unfinished Hawaii 5-0(2010)stories and one unfinished the hobbit desolation of smaug story also on that stick. It is easier for my muse to create graphics, she likes all the pretty and handsome in the pictures.

Oh, thanks.

The most important reason to write

For your own enjoyment — the joy of creation, the joy of reading the story you had to write because nobody else had done so until you came along. Don’t write with any goal in mind except this one: to complete a story — a novel, a novella, a short story, a short short story — so that you can read it.
